How to choose the right costume
We love the special occasion for the candy, all the good food, treats, and the costumes – specifically pet costumes. First and foremost, it is important to understand that the dog must be comfortable with wearing any type of costume for the special occasion or anytime of year. You want to make sure your pup is well-trained and won’t mind getting into a costume. To get him familiar with the process, it may be helpful to try out some dog clothing beforehand. It will also be helpful to give him a little treat while you are putting on his clothes to keep him calm and get him ready.

Safety tips for everyone
If you decide to take your dog trick-or-treating, be sure that his costume is comfortable and safe. You don’t want anything to cause him to choke, block his vision or distract him. If you don’t really plan on taking your dog out, and would rather just show him off to trick-or-treaters, make sure he is comfortable with people and won’t become frightened or escape from your house. It may also be helpful to warn trick-or-treaters that you have a dog before they ring the doorbell. Last but not least, make sure your dog doesn’t get a hold of the candy! You don’t want him to choke or accidentally swallow any wrappers. And chocolate is toxic for dogs so be extra careful to not let him run off with any chocolate!

Sizing for each dog is unique. We highly recommend you measure your pet precisely with a flexible tape measure to ensure the best fit. Contact us if you have question. We are happy to help.

Love this so cute Love this so cute. Except that my corgi’s body is still just a little too long for the costume so the head was more on her neck than on her head. But she looked adorable for the Corgis Take Over Denver parade last weekend

Fits and looks great Absolutely love it. I normally order a medium in sweaters for my 10lb miniature pinscher and the medium fit perfectly. Great material, not too thick. Wings are removable, simply snaps on and off. The legs are a good length, don’t sag or trip him. Perfect shape to still be able to use the restroom without having to remove it. The head stands up on its own with stuffing, even when not on his head. It doesn’t seem to bother him but I may make pockets for his large, tall ears so it’ll fit his head…

Bad sizing. Way smaller than the description led me to believe. Did not fit my cats who I bought it for, and did not even fit our toy schnauzer who is half their size. The fabric quality and seams all feel very nice, and overall the costume is well out together, but the sizing is way off. It would cost me over half of what I paid just to return it for a refund, so I am stuck with a non-fitting costume. For future reference: I ordered a small, and the tag on the inside does not say small or any sizing info,…
