Commercial pattern with historical flair, but awkward fit. I bought this pattern because I had heard that the breeches had a fairly historical shape. When I received the pattern, I was pleased to see from the pattern diagram that the overall shapes of the leg pieces are fairly accurate. However, they had a very strange fit on my husband (the historical baggy-butt was accurate, but there were other places that fit awkwardly in a non-historically-correct way, like the wide legs). The drop-front is not constructed in a period-correct way, either…
