“A Man for All Seasons” (1966) tells the true story of Thomas More (Paul Scofield), Lord Chancellor of England during the reign of King Henry VIII, who sacrificed everything for his personal beliefs. Worn by Scofield in the film, this two (2)-piece ensemble includes: one (1) long robe of corded brown wool with a velvet shawl lapel, ruched shoulders, and bell sleeves with velvet cuffs; and one (1) under-tunic with long velvet sleeves, piping at the collar, and a snap front closure. Both retain the internal Bermans & Nathans bias labels. The items are in fair to good condition, with the robe exhibiting wear and minor tears and snags throughout. There is some fading at the robe’s right front side. The tunic exhibits areas of crushed velvet and fading, with wear and minor tears throughout. The bottom elastic loop is broken on the right sleeve, and there are minor accretions on the left sleeve.

This ensemble is accompanied by a Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.
