Not bad The buttons are glued on and one of them came off the first time I tried them on. Not a big deal as you can just glue them on again, but it would’ve been better sewn on. There is a long piece of velcro that is used to seal the spats around your leg at the seam. At the top is an elastic band, but the circumference isn’t much smaller than the rest of the spat so it’s not that useful. The material of the spat itself isn’t stretchy, so if your leg is thicker than the spat you’re pretty much out of…

Omar Siddique says:

works reasonably well These suede-textured black spats are meant to hide the hems of your costume pants, and/or disguise your street shoes as some manner of period-appropriate footwear.

G. Parker says:

kinda cheap but OK for costuming in a pinch These spats are a bit loose on my boots, they’re also very cheap feeling but what do you expect for this price. They close with Velcro, and that was OK but one of the gold buttons (plastic) actually popped off after minimal use so I’m going to have to find a way to get it back on… From a distance these look OK, but up close it looks like a cheap Halloween style costume. If you need quality and up close inspection I’d get something else, but these will be acceptable looking from a distance.
