Seeing what you have to work with This little black-and-white book illustrates how to see the costume in the clothing you have or have thrifted. It includes a section on authenticity, and then shows the details of clothing for time periods such Biblical, Renaissance, American Colonial, and the Roaring 20s and the 1800s. I was looking for steampunk ideas, and this has a wire bustle diagram, and sketchy patterns for leggings and a couple of capts.
